Leuven has something for everyone, it seems.
The world headquarters for Budweiser is located here (I like Budweiser;
you can keep your girly, micro-brewed beers), and the town is a world leader
in education and research.
Leuven is also a producer of high-quality art glass and the town hall is
way too nice for politicians.
Like many cities in Belgium, Leuven was once owned by the Dutch. For this
reason, you will find many travel websites to the city written in this
language.
Do not despair, however, because all you'll need is a few Budweisers and
you'll begin to understand it. It is, after all, where English came from.
So for your fill of art, culture, dance, museums and really good beer,
visit Leuven.
Wij wensen U een aangename tocht. |
