Towns in Dublin

County Dublin Hotels

Hotels in Dublin tend to be a little bit more costly than in other parts of Ireland so book early to find the best prices.

In today's climate, there are a number of excellent Dublin hotels offering substantial discounts and specials.

Parking is limited in Dublin at many of the hotels so, if you can avoid having a car there, you'll find getting around the city is quite easy.

If you're coming to Dublin from another county, we strongly suggest taking a train.

Staying in a Dublin hotel in the centre of town gives you the opportunity to do a class "A" pub crawl in the footsteps of literary giants.

Downtown Dublin is also a great place to shop.

Dublin is not much unlike most cities in western Europe. It began as a Viking settlement and evolved its charm over the centuries by absorbing foreign customs into the great flavour of Irish welcomes.

Perhaps, because of this, Dublin stands out from the rest of Ireland.

The pace is quicker, however, so don't expect to enjoy the peace and quiet found elsewhere.
