Formerly owned by Humanitarian Dick, a nineteenth century member of the British Parliament, this castle specialises in fly fishing with its beautiful Ballynahinch river running by. Pony trekking, hill walking, cycling, golfing and shooting are all close at hand. Please contact reception who can organise pony trekking on the beach or contact the walking centre for guided walks through the Twelve Bens.
The hotel is located just 9.5km from Galway City.

All of our guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated with views overlooking the gardens.
All meals are cooked to order and all our produce is sourced locally ensuring the freshest and finest quality at all times. Our bar menu is available between the hours of 12noon and 7pm daily. The menu is updated every couple of months with new appetizing dishes cooked to order.

Zetland Country House is situated overlooking Cashel Bay in the heart of
Connemara surrounded by acres of garden. Three miles further on there is a right turn where you will see another signpost. Zetland Country House is situated on the right hand side 0.8 of a mile from there.
